Shalamar Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital serving the community since 1982. The hospital aims to provide quality healthcare in a compassionate & patient-centred environment. Over 600,000 patients from Lahore and the province of Punjab are treated every year at the hospital making it one of the busiest hospitals in the city. The ability to provide quality treatment to such a large number of patients diligently and efficiently is key to Shalamar Hospital’s success.
Background
Shalamar Hospital opened its door to patients in 1978 as a 50 bedded hospital for the underprivileged members of the community. The hospital initially had six departments and today has evolved to become a multi-disciplinary tertiary care teaching hospital. Shalamar Hospital now offers services in 27 clinical specialities which are backed by highly trained doctors, state-of-the-art equipment, operation theatres and diagnostic facilities.

I have been bestowed a major responsibility by Allah Almighty to serve Shalamar Hospital as Chief Operating Officer in 2021. It is indeed my privilege to work upon and achieve the mission & vision laid down by founding fathers to provide patient friendly & quality health care services to all socioeconomic strata of community.
We at Shalamar Hospital believe in continuum of care hence all clinical disciplines are working in an integrated manner. As a tertiary care hospital, we feel a deep sense of pride and commitment to all those who place their trust in our services. Our primary focus is to deliver exceptional healthcare service that exceeds national standards in quality, safety and patient satisfaction.
