Sakina (Begum) Institute of Diabetes and Endocrine Research (SiDER) is capable of dealing with all disorders related to hormonal imbalance within the body. SiDER’s mission is to create diabetes awareness among the youth and to provide holistic care to the population afflicted with diabetes. This abstract idea was materialized and successfully implemented at SiDER, which had a rigorous evidence-based, clinical approach towards research and treatment. According to the Diabetes Survey of Pakistan in 2017, every 1 in 5 people in Pakistan suffer from diabetes mellitus. Unfortunately, this number is expected to rise in the coming years. At SiDER, a dedicated team of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists provide comprehensive and personalized care to diabetes patients and treat endocrine-related issues such as thyroid cancer, hormonal imbalance, osteoporosis, obesity and PCOS.
