About Dr. Nazli Hameed

Prof. Dr. Nazli Hameed is a highly respected figure in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, serving as the Chair of the International Representative Committee (IRC) for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in Pakistan. She also holds key positions as the Chair of Maternal and Child Health (M&CH) at Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) and the Director of the Urogynaecology Fellowship Program.
Her impressive dedication has significantly advanced the obstetrics and gynecology specialty in Pakistan. Prof. Hameed was instrumental in establishing the subspecialty of urogynaecology in Punjab, providing focused care for women with pelvic floor disorders. This is the first centre in Punjab to be recognized for second fellowship in any subspeciality in OBGYN. Her initiative has earned the Hospital the prestigious Healthcare Asia Award.
She has successfully led Pakistan to number one position in securing MTI placements, improved membership and fellowship by 25% and has brought the MRCOG Part 3 examination to Pakistan, offering local candidates the opportunity to achieve this prestigious qualification without traveling abroad. Prof. Hameed fosters international collaboration and learning among OBGYN professionals.

She specializes in Urogynaecology, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids. Her areas of special interest are Prolapse, Pelvic floor dysfunction, Urinary and fecal incontinence, Fistula treatment, Vaginal laxity and Atrophy

Her dedication to patient care and her contributions to the field of gynecology have earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious COAS Gold Medal
