He successfully completed his medical residency and fellowship from Fatima Memorial Hospital. Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Iftikhar Yousaf’s clinical services and interests encompass a wide spectrum of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the field of Gastroenterology. His expertise includes Upper G.I. Endoscopy and Diagnostics Endoscopy, facilitating the precise examination and evaluation of upper gastrointestinal disorders. Additionally, Dr. Yousaf specializes in performing Esophageal Variceal Sclerotherapy and Stricture Dilatation procedures, offering effective interventions for conditions such as variceal bleeding and esophageal strictures achalasia balloon dilation. In the realm of Lower G.I. Endoscopy, Dr. Yousaf provides expertise in Diagnostic Colonoscopy, aiding in the early detection and management of colorectal issues as well as in therapeutic colonoscopies including structure dilatation, stent placement endoscopic colonic polypectomy. Also expert in both diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP including CBD stone removal both plastic and metal stent placement tar biliary and pancreatic malignancy.
